One day, high school boy Seiya Maki fell in love at first sight with Arisa Asahina, the most beautiful girl in his class, when he saw the ugly-looking bento that she brought to lunch. "I want to eat Asahina-san's bento, so would you please go out with me?" Arisa thought the strange confession was a bad joke at first, so she angrily rejected him. But Arisa eventually becomes interested in Seiya because of his eager sincerity and his kindness in helping her through her problems. One day, however, Arisa discovers Seiya's secret that he can't tell anyone. Where will their relationship go, and why is Seiya attracted to Arisa's bento?
