The story follows Sakakibara Midori, a sixteen-year-old high school student whose father runs a detective agency. One day, she reluctantly accepts a request from a classmate. This event will awaken Midori to the profession of detective and what it entails; probing the depths of the human heart to reveal its true essence. We follow Midori's evolution and learning on the path of the detective profession through five short stories spread over sixteen years.
