Satsuma and Owner is a collection of real life stories of a Japanese mangaka and his Northern White Faced Owl, Satsuma. It is a collection of comic strips that follow the adorable daily struggle of owning a quirky bird. Satsuma is an internet-famous Northern White Faced Owl and currently has a large fanbase on vine and twitter. O-Ji has previously written another book about his owl titled "Satsuma Fukuro Ga Iru Nichijou" (The Everyday Life of the Owl, Satsuma) which was published in January of 2016.
