Torque, a young boy born into an aristocratic family, is banished from the mansion with his mother, who was a concubine. The shock of being beaten by his father causes him to regain the memories of being an ordinary businessman in a previous life and that he had been reincarnated into this world. Torque and his friends arrive at the impoverished village of his mother's homeland, but the villagers treat him and his mother coldly, and the mother falls ill. Torque tries to improve the living environment and get closer to the villagers by making full use of the memories of the previous life and the magic learned from his mother. Then, he meets the "spirit" who lives in the village. This is the beginning of a warm fantasy story about a young man advancing in life.
