The internet and social media have made communication easy at the cost of weakening connections, so to combat this problem, God assigns angels to visit mankind and help get their relationships back on track. Yuzune is one such angel who'd rather slack off and read shoujo manga, but on threat of being fired, he heads to Earth and forms a contract with Sumire Hanazono, an awkward, stalker-like girl, to assist with her crush on her neighbor, Hitoshi Hirai.
