As the final battle begins between Link and the evil Ganondorf, Link begins to receive flashbacks of his long journey leading up to this moment. Zelda Chuanshuo: Shi zhi Di 3D was a promotional manhua drawn to commemorate the release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D in Taiwan and Hong Kong. It was originally released on the Nintendo of Taiwan website on September 27, 2012, and included in an introductory booklet distributed at game shops in Taiwan and Hong Kong in October 2012. It was not released in Japanese until September 2021, when it was included in the official book for the Akira Himekawa Original Drawings exhibit at the Kyoto International Manga Museum.
